Why "Over Pour"?
At Over Pour Coffee, our name is more than just a catchy phrase; it is the core of our Christian mission and a powerful reminder of how we are called to live.

The concept of the "Over pouring Cup" originates in the ancient world,
beautifully captured by King David in Psalm 23:5:
"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."

In that time, an overflowing cup was the ultimate sign of a generous host.
When a host filled a guest's cup to the brim and let the liquid spill over,
it was a profound declaration: Stay as long as you want. You are family here.
You are welcome. I have more than enough for you. It represented boundless generosity, provision, and honor.
This image perfectly captures the essence of our relationship with God.

We believe that Jesus, our ultimate Host, so abundantly fills our lives with His presence, peace, and boundless love until we cannot help but Over Pour. We are saturated in His goodness, and that abundance is not meant
to be contained or kept to ourselves;
It’s intended to spill out and bless the lives of those around us.

As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 15:13:
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as
you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
